Angela Legh
Angela Legh is an international bestselling author, columnist, television host, and emerging documentary filmmaker whose work explores the emotional forces shaping children, families, and human behavior. She is the author of 12 books, including the award-winning middle-grade fantasy series The Bella Santini Chronicles, which helps young readers understand emotions, choices, belonging, and self-worth through story.
Angela hosts and produces Unfiltered Parenting and has written for USA Today and the Los Angeles Tribune. Her work has earned the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award, the Mom’s Choice Gold Award, and the Golden Wizard Book Prize.
She is now bringing her trauma-informed approach to documentary filmmaking through The Way Out, a four-part series centered on women raised within the Short Creek community. Whether writing for children or interviewing women whose lives have been judged from the outside, Angela looks beyond behavior to reveal the human story beneath it.
